I strongly give this apartment complex the worst possible rating. I stayed here for 10 years, and the move-out experience was a nightmare. They provided old appliances when I moved in, and after years of normal use, they naturally worsened. Instead of acknowledging their age, management tried to charge the tenant for damages that were clearly not their responsibility. Many scratches and defects were already there, hidden under the hood, yet they still blamed the tenant.

Maintenance was equally... terrible. I had to wait over two months for a dryer repair. Nothing was ever handled quickly. I raised multiple requests to replace the tub for five years, and they never did anything.

Terrible apartment complex. Within 4 months of living here, there have been multiple issues. The apartment unit was filthy upon moving in, with one of the shower drains being backed up and unable to drain. The smaller bathroom has black mold at the base of the shower and the shower floor is painted over so you risk paint peeling off on your feet every time you shower. The washer and dryer did not work and were also filthy-the insides were covered in sand and the filter hadn't been cleaned in a... long period of time. Maintenance took 2+ weeks to come out and fix the washer and dryer. The living room blinds fell off the brackets, leaving no privacy to the apartment, and maintenance took 2 months to come fix them, even after 4+ maintenance requests. The excuse from management? The apartment complex hadn't had a manager in 2 months to attend to these problems. The kitchen window was not able to be opened past a few inches, which poses a serious safety hazard. Any request for maintenance over the phone was met with rude and inattentive leasing agents. There is also a massive bug issue in this unit from being close to trees and bushes, anything from centipedes to spiders, and everything in between. As a tenant with a documented mobility disability, I’ve faced ongoing issues with Beacon Management at Bloomfield Villas. My request for accessible parking led to inconsistent communication, improper fees, and threats to revoke access unless I signed a retroactive lease addendum.

I was charged $40/month under duress for a carport not included in my lease, followed by a late fee. This has caused undue hardship and feels retaliatory.

Please don't let these photos fool you - they're only showing you the updated units in this complex. The bones of this complex are absolutely horrific. The complex was built in the 80's, with very little insulation, the windows are horrible and you can hear everything through your walls and ceilings. You will be able to hear your upstairs neighbors doing absolutely anything. When I moved in, the filth of the many dirty people living in my unit before me was still stuck to the walls, the kitchen... and the bathroom. Utilities are absolutely out of control high as there is no insulation, the windows are horrible and everything is outdated. Between electricity, gas and water, you can expect to pay around $225 a month for your utilities. You currently can't even view your water bill, they just add the $70+ a month to your rent.

They switched over management companies and rent has gone up 40% since they took over, with absolutely no upgrades in the unit. They redid the clubhouse, which nobody uses and only the leasing agents get to enjoy. You can't submit work requests online anymore, and the payment portal has changed multiple times.

I've had horrific experiences with multiple neighbors, who don't respect your space or your property. My car has been destroyed by the reckless people throwing their doors open into mine. You will smell every single thing your neighbors are cooking, and due to the majority of the complex being Indian, you will smell very strong scents from their cooking constantly.

There are so many other complexes in the area you can live in. I promise you, do not get swayed by the good lighting, photography and updated units. This complex is an absolute nightmare. Any reviews you see from prior to 2020 I would not even listen to. This is an entirely different complex under the new management.
