In addition to the patio garden, Thayer Towers has a beautifully landscaped yard and a small wooded creek waiting just outside your gate.

You will be just a 5-10 minute walk from two parks, a grocery store, restaurants, and the best crepes I have ever had. With a 10-15 minute walk, you can explore downtown Silver Spring or catch the red line metro into DC.

The condo is furnished-
The bedroom features a walk in closet, a queen sized bed, and a solid wood dresser.
The living room includes a couch, coffee table, tv stand, tv, desk/chair, and a breakfast nook.
The kitchen includes dish ware, utensils, pots, pans, a gas range, updated stainless steel appliances (fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher), granite countertops, and solid wood cabinets.
The bathroom includes an updated toilet, sink, vanity, and tile floor. We were able to preserve the vintage tiles on the walls and in the shower/tub.
Their is a stocked linen closet just outside the bathroom, and a double-length hall closet by the front entry.

Laundry is available two doors down the hall. Parking is available for free in the lot just outside the building. The building is pet friendly as long as waste is managed properly. The building manager is very friendly and skilled. He lives onsite and can help with lockouts and maintenance needs. The building has an exterminator come monthly.
