I am submitting this statement regarding what I believe was a deceptive and unnecessarily burdensome application process for this apartment community. I was required to complete multiple steps and pay significant application-related fees before being given a fair opportunity to review the lease terms.

The primary issue was not the property tour; although it was performed entirely independently. I requested, on at least four separate occasions, the opportunity to review and visualize the... mandatory one-year lease before my anticipated move-in date so I could have it reviewed by a legal professional. My requests were denied. I was told the lease could only be viewed online and was refused a paper copy, despite the leasing office requiring that my first month’s rent be paid by paper check.

Without a reasonable opportunity to review the lease in advance, I was expected to make financial commitments before fully understanding the contractual obligations. This is the exact situation I was trying to avoid. As a result, I lost approximately $200 in application-related fees and believe the process lacked transparency and fairness.

The property’s location was especially important because of my occupation in emergency medicine, making proximity to work a significant factor in my housing decision. I believe applicants should be given a reasonable opportunity to review the lease before being required to incur substantial costs or make financial commitments.

Ultimately, this process resulted in the loss of a qualified and committed prospective resident who was prepared to lease the apartment. It also reflects poorly on the property’s management and ownership. Rate renewal process and maintenance are horrendous

I have LOVED this apt! Love the digital amenities and bay window. The layout makes it seem bigger. Maintenance responds right away. The only negative is that the leasing team, while professional, sometimes seems inexperienced. Virgil, the new leasing team member, is professional, accommodating, prompt and friendly - thankful for him!

I have been a resident here for 2+ years now and recently started having flooding issues in my basement apartment unit every time it rains. I've been very displeased at the lack of communication between maintenance workers and management in getting this issue fixed. I would not recommend living here if you are looking for timely service on maintenance issues.

Do not live here. I assure you, it will be one of the larger mistakes you make in your lifetime. Having a safe, functioning, peaceful place to live is too important. Look elsewhere. Anywhere but here.
