Mid Vernon - Very old building and inept management

This is a great place if you like freezing to death because there is no heat or insulation. You will feel every gust of wind (and Baltimore is a VERY windy city), and you can heat your apartment all day and it won't go above 60F. This place was fine as a starter apartment in Baltimore before getting to know the neighborhoods and all the suburbs outside of it and DC. You have many better choices. This area is also mostly homeless people or college students, so I think the management probably... figured they can get away with providing zero services since young kids don't know any better. If you're a working professional adult who has their head on straight, this is no place for you to live.

The location is also terrible. People will talk about how "walkable" Mount Vernon is. A neighborhood is NOT WALKABLE if there is nothing to WALK TO. No grocery store (food desert), all the restaurants and corner shops that you would think you could go to for a quick bite are some of the worst places I've ever been to. One place on Chase St gave me severe food poisoning.

The front call box never works, so I hope you also like never getting your mail.

Don't bother.

We love Earl Court

Happily living at Earl Court. The views are incredible of Mount Vernon and the location is fantastic. The apartment has high end kitchen appliances and hardwood floors. So far management is very responsive.

Great Location and Apartment

My unit must have been recently renovated. All the appliances are new and apartment was exactly what I was looking for. I haven't been in the location that long, but everything I have asked for from management has been taken care of quickly. A

Great apartment!

Would give my apartment 5/5 stars. It’s a perfect blend of historical property with modern finishes and a great location. I love being able to get to DC or philly in an hour from walking out my door. Or obviously downtown in 5 minutes.

sweet apartment!

I moved into one of the newly renovated apartments in March. Got a sweet deal because they were doing lease-up so I don't think they are still offering. The building is 2 blocks from penn station and university of baltimore so I don't need a car. Have not had any issues with the apartment at all since the building is newly renovated
