Property Details
My wife and I live across the street from this single-family home that we plan to turn into our forever home, but for now we are renting it. We are looking for a tenant for the coming year and are open to a longer-term rental. The property has... amazing transit, bike, and walk scores. It is ~5 minutes to walk to Alewife Station on the Red Line - the main subway line in Boston.
The neighborhood is really quiet and safe. This is a great place for families with lots of parks, playgrounds, bike paths, a public pool, and Cambridge's High School athletic fields all within a few blocks of the house. There is a great sense of community with many block parties and events throughout the year.
We can partially furnish the house upon request (dining room table + chairs, kitchen table + chairs, large sofa-style chairs, and other common area items, but not bedroom items). We are open to pets.
We spend a lot of time on ecological gardening at our condo across the street. Lots of nature despite being in the city. We are very responsive landlords and happy to offer recommendations in the area.
North Cambridge belongs to Cambridge Public Schools, a highly rated district in Massachusetts. Cambridge, as well as downtown Boston, offer North Cambridge residents a plethora of amenities including museums, local eateries, historic landmarks, international airport, and water views.
North Cambridge offers public parks to its residents as well as trails throughout the community such as Alewife Linear Path, perfect for walking, running, or biking through town. Buy your fresh produce and garden supplies at Pemberton Farms Marketplace and support local business in North Cambridge. Grab lunch, dinner, or even late night drinks at Christopher’s on Massachusetts Avenue.
Happy to answer any questions about the house or the area that are unclear from the listing. Can share a draft lease upon request.
