I love living here! I am so close to campus enough to enjoy my own space but still experience the college lifestyle. I can't wait for this snow to melt and the pool to open back up. Two more years to complete my degree and I will be here until then. Can't wait to see more WSU students here!

Nasty living conditions
If you value your health so not move here, as stated by others there is an extreme amount of mold and fungus growth throughout the walls/AC/pipes/faucets etc and the hallways are pretty gross too, sketchy people all over the place and all 3 dumpsters filled to the absolute brim and trash to the side of the dumpsters, not sure if the pool even functions, looked like there was stuff on the bottom of it and didn't really want to take a closer look because it probably is something nasty.

Excellent New Management
I have lived in 21W apartments for 1.5 years and initially the management system was terrible. However in the past 4 weeks, as there has been a change in leadership, the new manager: Hector P has really shown a commitment and dedication to his tenants. I had a maintenance issue this week and within 1 day the manager was on it and got it fixed. Got to give the new manager credit for making room for a new and improved 21W.

STAY AWAY!
Trash everywhere constantly, leaky buildings, on-site washer dryers do not work. Every summer I lived here (3 summers) my AC went out and it took a minimum of 8 days to get out and fix. The toilet they installed in my unit wobbled until the day I moved out because they did not fasten it to the ground correctly. The dish washer in my unit did not work the entire 3.5yrs I lived there. Even after a couple of "fixes" they completed. I just stopped trying and accepted the fact I was... destined to wash dishes by hand.
Terrible paint jobs both inside and outside units. There were fleas in my unit before move in and had to get that taken care of, which of course took a week longer than it should have. Pet waste everywhere, even had a pile of what was hopefully dog crap outside my front door INSIDE the building for 2 weeks before somebody cleaned it up. They do not answer calls, so I could not notify them about it.
For being a relatively safe part of town police were on site weekly for who knows what. I swear tenants had bad parking competitions because folks were contently double parked. Even in the stall I PAID FOR people would make it impossible for me to park there.
And if all that wasn't enough, currently fighting to get any information about my security deposit. Considering a literal small claims lawsuit because living at 21W has been such an absolute hell.
Staff does not answer emails or phone calls, and when you get lucky enough to get a real person on the phone you are met with malice and a shocking lack of decorum.
Did I mention that rent went UP nearly $200 in the time span I lived there? This place is not worth your time or money I assure you.

DON’T MOVE HERE
Dirty, old, terribly maintained. The office staff does NOT get back to you within 24 hours, then blocks you from putting in maintenance requests. Will make it as difficult as possible for you to leave, even if they would have made more money on you breaking your lease.
