CYM is a money hungry company.
The only thing good about the place is the location. They've installed internet on everybody to make it more modern and nobody needed it because we already had internet services coming through. Now they are extorting it to become more rich. The internet price that you see on the website you'll pay close to $200 more for the stupid internet fee and for the utilities. And that doesn't count the cost of your electric bill that you're responsible for and that can range you anywhere from $100 to $500... in the winter time. Oh if you also have the upgraded cabinets with the flat countertop and no bookshelf expect to have ants in your cabinet sometime in your stay. Occasionally too you can smell pot smokers in there. And I've known of residence that it needed a roof and a hot water heater and haven't got anything done. Therefore this place gets two stars one star for the location and the other one because they're ground level apartments.

LOVE MY COZY NEST
I've been living at Poplar Ridge Apartments for about a year now and have to say it has been a wonderful experience. The quiet, peaceful environment, wonderful neighbors, professional office staff, and hardworking maintenance crew, all make Poplar Ridge the ideal place to stay. I appreciate the convenience of the various shops, stores, restaurants, gyms, banking. Just about everything one needs is within walking distance or within a mile and a half radius. For all these reasons, I consider... Poplar Ridge Top Tier for preferred apartment living at an affordable price!!!

Great Location
I'm in an un-upgraded version, but I love my apartment. Been here since 2016. Yes, the rent went up but they'll work with you and try to get you a deal to keep good residents. Maintenance is friendly & knowledgeable. I'm happy to be close to Trader Joes, Meijer, Target, Kroger, other shopping, car maintenance, & the interstate. Fire/Police right across the street in case of emergencies. Manager is super nice. They do nice things such as breakfast Fridays in the office. Heating bill is on... the high side, be forewarned.

Don't move here
Outside lights have been out although reported months ago. Shady characters moving in, and you can hear everything your neighbors do in their apartment. MY CAR WINDOW WAS SHOT OUT & I didn't get so much as a "sorry, that happened" from management. That's my last straw--moving out as soon as possible. May even break my lease to escape. Electric bills run $200 in the winter for 1 bedroom. They also charge for water, trash and they force a renter's ins. policy on you.

Recently bought out and now charging over $300 more, plus charging for water, trash and forcing a renter's ins. policy that you have to purchase and put in THEIR name as beneficiary. Thin walls, super high electric bills in the winter. Short-tailed shrews come in through the holes in winter. Worst part: You can hear every step your neighbors on all sides make--no joke, floors are hollow.
