I am extremely upset with how terrible the communication at this apartment complex is. It is impossible to get in contact with their onsite leasing department the phone constantly reroutes to a central third party office that is not even helpful. What is the point of having a contract number if you cannot be contacted nor follow up when requested to. This inconvenience will cause me to have to go to the leasing office in person after I already have made payments toward a new lease yet haven’t... heard back from the apartment since signing the lease and am now in limbo. I have never in my life encountered a management office so spectacularly indifferent to the people it is supposed to serve. Prairie Shores management operates as if appointments are merely suggestions — a courtesy extended to residents only to be ignored the moment it becomes inconvenient for whoever happens to be sitting in that office.

Even when you do everything right — schedule an appointment in advance, show up on time, come prepared — you are made to wait 15 to 30 minutes as a baseline.... Not once. Not twice. Every single time, without exception. This is not a coincidence. This is a pattern, and it is a deliberate one.

What makes it truly infuriating is what you witness while you wait. Staff members are visibly free — laughing, chatting, doing nothing of consequence — yet somehow completely unavailable to the resident standing right in front of them. I have waited over an hour for a scheduled meeting that never happened. An entire hour of my day, gone, with zero acknowledgment, zero apology, and zero explanation.

This has happened to me on multiple occasions. It is not a bad day. It is not a miscommunication. It is a management team that fundamentally does not respect the residents who pay rent in this building. If you are considering Prairie Shores, understand clearly what you are signing up for: a management office that will waste your time without remorse, and a staff that will look you in the eye and make you wait anyway.

Amazing showing with Tara ! Tara is very knowledgeable and love what she does! We enjoy getting information from her . She also chat with my little son to make him happy to see the apartments, how amazing she is. I used to be a traveler and once I told her that she started sharing with us her wonderful experiences in other countries. Hopefully we will see her in leasing team for years. It’s hard to see people happy at their work. She enjoys about what she do and make others enjoy too.

Ant and roach infested buildings. No matter how clean you keep your apartment, an ungodly trail of ants will always be crawling around. I almost crashed my car because I saw a trail of ants coming from my FRESHLY WASHED jacket as I was driving. I pay for a RESERVED pass ($75/mo) and my car was still towed FROM MY RESERVED SPOT. Only half of the washers/dryers ever work at a time, and they don’t work well. $3.50 for a half-done wash and $3 for smelly dryers. Management/leasing NEVER answers the... phone- you must go over to the leasing office where you’ll be met with annoyed gazes as if your presence is an inconvenience. I lived at Prairie Shores for quite some time and, unfortunately, my experience ended on a very disappointing note. After moving out, I received a charge for door repair, which I believe was mistakenly applied. I reached out to request detailed documentation supporting this charge. While Prairie Shores initially responded and assured me they would follow up, I never received the requested information despite sending multiple follow-up emails. Rather than addressing my concerns or providing... clarification, the charge was forwarded to a collections agency.

The collection agency, IQ Data International, contacted me with what they called a "courtesy call" before proceeding with collections. During this call, I explained the situation and the reason for the delayed payment. However, their representative informed me that my only option was to "pay in protest." To make matters worse, I was pressured to make the payment immediately during that call, without being afforded even a single day to review the matter or seek further clarification.

I am incredibly disappointed with Prairie Shores’ lack of transparency, communication, and accountability in handling this issue. Additionally, the high-pressure tactics employed by the collection agency felt unfair and unprofessional.
