I waited until the end of my lease before writing this because I wanted to give an honest review based on my full experience.

When I first moved in, I was excited. The leasing office staff were friendly and the model unit looked great. Unfortunately, my experience living here was very different. The building was often dirty, with trash, food, and even urine in the hallways. At one point I found a used condom in the elevator and reported it with photos, but issues like this continued.

If you... have a dog, I strongly suggest asking to see the “trail” where dogs are supposed to be walked. In my experience it was basically a strip of road near the train tracks and was often covered in dog waste.

Another issue during my lease was the fire alarms constantly going off, sometimes in the middle of the night. One time the alarm lasted over three hours and everyone had to stand outside while the fire department tried to stop it.

The final issue for me was when a package belonging to my partner was stolen around the holidays. After looking into it, I learned the package had been moved from the mail room to the package room floor and the cameras in that room weren’t even working. Management stopped communicating with me about the situation after a police report was filed.

My experience here was disappointing, especially considering how positive things seemed at the beginning. I would recommend that anyone considering moving here tour the entire building and ask a lot of questions before signing a lease. Read More

If you're looking to rent here, I urge you to look elsewhere. This has been one of the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in. When I initially moved in, the leasing office didn't have a sticker for me to park in the parking deck, which led to me being booted in the parking deck and having to pay $75 my first week of living there, that I had to fight with the leasing office to get them to pay. There have been multiple instances of cars being broken into. Instead of hiring security to... patrol, they asked the residents to volunteer to do security. Last month, being the parking deck is so open and the gates are broken, a couple of homeless people were able to come into the actual apartment building because the doors that are in the parking deck that lead into the building don't close. Security at this place is horrible and you could find more secure places that would charge you less. I live alone and I am a 5' 1 woman. I am always frightened to go out of apartment due to the long hallways and lack of cameras in the hallways. I carry my weapon to just go run to my car for something quick due to not feeling safe at this complex. Also, I've had to replace all of the food in my refrigerator three times due to my breaker being broken and maintenance not knowing it needed to be replaced. As mentioned earlier, I've only lived here for 5 months. The property won't take any responsibility for having it cleaned out or simply throwing out the 4 trash bags filled with all of my purchased, and now spoiled, food. You pay for valet trash, but they still make you take out your trash to the trash chute, which is in the parking deck where security isn't available. Please beware of staying here! My husband and I moved from Dallas, Texas to the Atlanta, Georgia area back in July 2019. The first apartment we moved in were not good living arrangements to our likeness. Therefore, we sourced for another apartment. We found and really loved Sync on Jonquil. Our initial walk-in was was amazing customer service. We told them our disappointment about the previous apartment we had and they were sooo understanding and worked with my husband and I. Needless to say, we moved in with no hesitation.... Everyone that works there literally is so helpful and does a fantastic job with our needs pertaining to the apartment whether it’s a light bulb change or any other minor issues. The leasing specialist, Hope, has really been amazing. She is so approachable, always eager to assist with anything, and goes over and beyond for the community at Sync at Jonquil. The property of Alta at Jonquil is new and luxurious. Simply put, it speaks for itself. However, if the property doesn’t have a good staff, it’s all in vain. Here, the staff is very personable, helpful and available through numerous modes of communication.
