I lived at this community for nearly two years, and for the most part, my experience during the first year was positive. Unfortunately, this past year declined significantly after changes in management.

The biggest issue was the lack of flexibility or consideration for long-term residents. There is no recognition, reward, or appreciation for tenants who consistently pay high rent and unnecessary fees. Everything feels strictly profit-driven, with no sense of tenant loyalty or appreciation from... this corporation.

Cleanliness also became a growing concern. Dog waste is a constant issue. There is frequently dog urine in the hallways and dog waste throughout the entire property. Walking the sidewalks often feels unavoidable without stepping in dog waste. For the amount charged in rent, this level of upkeep is disappointing.

Rodents were becoming to be an issue as well. Small roaches and then later would see big ones around the property.

Final note, please be aware that their one bedroom floor plans DO NOT come with a washer/dryer in the unit. This was a total surprise to me upon moving in because this was not disclosed on their website nor did anyone tell me this via the leasing office. Because of this, I had to rent a washer/dryer from a third party vendor. Once again, this does not justify the amount of rent being charged.

For the amount of rent charged, there are much better options than Bexley Duluth. Be aware and spend your money else where. They do not value their tenants. Read More

Location is great!! Besides that there’s nothing else. These apartments may be new but management is crap. First of all they’re on the 3rd management. After a few months of opening it got sold to Bexley management. Sodo Duluth was better. Then they brought in another manager again. So use your head. My water bill started from $87 monthly then $200 I left a review saying my water bill should never be that much- mind you it’s just me and my husband in this apartment and we travel to Boston a lot!!... They emailed me saying they’d send someone to look “maybe I have a leak”. Nobody showed up not even a fly!!! So they send a lease renewal of course im moving out then they send a new water bill of $250!!! This is a monthly water bill!!! WHY? because they finessing. There are better apartments around- new also. Do your research. Rent is too high, what they’re not gonna tell you is your utility bill will be over the top.
