Think Twice
I've lived here for several years now and no matter who owns the property the results are still the same. The complex had a facelift a few years back along with new roofs and some appliances in some units. First, there are roaches in my unit and it's cleaned daily (no dishes left or trash exposed). Second, the pool hasn't been cleaned in nearly a year and hasn't been open for use in two years even though it's listed as an amenity. Third, only the units towards the front of the property received... the most attention as far as pictures on this site and others like it. Finally, the past and current management teams are one in the same....promising that things would be better than before only to do nothing. All they do is lie to your face and throw you out every chance they get. My unit hasn't been upgraded since I've been here; damages caused from constant leaks from the unit above me still haven't been addressed eventhough I've requested someone to look at it since the new owners took over last October. Yet, the rent continues to increase. On the otherhand, the surrounding area in some ways makes this property tolerable with ease of access to public transportation and multiple stores of your choosing.
BTW...the fitness center is only available during business hours!

Our team is committed to providing a comfortable... living environment for all residents, and we clearly need to do better in your case. The cleanliness of our amenities like the pool and fitness center is also something that will be addressed promptly. We understand how important these factors are for a comfortable residential experience, and we plan on making necessary improvements.As for management communication issues, we sincerely apologize if there has been any miscommunication or misunderstanding from our side. We hope to rebuild trust in this regard by addressing all pending issues on priority basis including repair damages caused by leaks.
The rent adjustments reflect broader market trends; however, we do understand your concerns over seeing improvements within your personal unit along with these transitions. Regarding operation hours of fitness center & other amenities they have been assigned considering majority resident’s convenience but feedback like yours helps us reconsider it .

Do not move here!!!!
First of all the neighbors are nasty. They litter and throw trash all over the apartments. They people who live upstairs from me make so much noise I can hardly sleep at night. Then there are roaches that crawl out the walls and I have seen them in my bed. My place is very clean and I still see them. There are huge water bugs and little roaches here. The breezeways are always dirty and full of mud. They have a garbage issue here and the dumpster is always overflowing with trash that stinks... really bad. I've seen a rats here too and yes they are big!!!! This not a great place to live because of these problems. I will be breaking my lease very soon and moving somewhere else. The new garbage program is just gonna cause more roaches and rats. We are told to leave our trash outside our door in a trash can and the garbage team is supposed to pick it up. I haven't seen anyone pick up mine. This place is disgusting!!!! They are so called renovated but it just plain old nasty.

The Arbors
This is the best condo apartments that I have been in seen I been in Georgia. The neighbors are quiet peacefull and friendly. The Location is quiet and peaceful. It's a great place to live for Seniors and Adults with children that are very well mannered. There are a lot of extra things to do in the complex for the kids and Adults. There is no voilence here like where I used to live or gunshots every night. So I give the Arbors a 10 for being one of the safest places to live in Decatur Ga
