Parking is absolutely terrible and continues to get worse because of management. If you don’t get home by about 4 or 5 all free parking spaces in front of your apartment will most likely be taken. People try to get around that by parking on a wall. This week signs were put up stating that we can no longer park on the wall, followed by an email stating we can’t be “Parked anywhere that is not a designated parking space“ or we will be towed.

Parking was an issue far before this new management... simply because there aren’t enough spaces, they made it worse by taking away two spaces per building entrance for “premium” $50 a month parking ( which are mostly NOT reserved). When parking is full we are expected to park in one of TWO guest parking spots in the back of the property.

All emails that have been received recently are about trying to get people to reserve our community spaces (pool and “club house”), threatening fines for having curtains on balconies, and threatening fines and now tow for parking issues.

Changes are to be expected when management switches, but the way it is happening here is very distasteful. Especially looking at how they respond when they are getting complaints from their residents. Read More

Ever since this new management took over in January parking is TERRIBLE! So terrible that I’m not renewing my lease in the summer despite having lived here for a few years. It’s made living here stressful and they don’t care one bit.

My experience over the last 3 years have been okay. Not very bad but not very good either. I’ve felt safe and I love how quiet it is, the outside grounds are well kept and I have been fortunate enough to have great neighbors and the price for the location collectively has been the only reason I’ve stayed and renewed . I’m very hesitant on recommendation because of my personal experiences I wouldn’t want to risk being an apart of potential disappointment. Overall it’s been an “OK “ experience.

Things have went down hill since I first moved here a year ago. Poor communication and slow maintenance even on emergencies. I’ve been without AC for almost 2 days and keep getting the runaround. No AC in weather over 85 degrees is considered an emergency request (according to the memo they just sent out today ironically) and yet I’m coming up on day 2 of no AC even though I was told it would be fixed today. It’s been over 90 degrees! The emergency maintenance number is useless… someone just... takes your information over the phone but no one comes out. At this point you’re just paying for the location. Don't be fooled by reviews of people who just toured the complex or haven't lived here long. They make sure they give you the best service in the beginning so you can leave a good review then they stop caring. Drastic difference from when I first moved here til now. Read More

The property is a little outdated but it’s nice the staff is friendly and willing to fix problems. It’s a comfortable and safe community from what I’ve experienced. The maintenance team is the most reliable, hardworking, and friendly team you’ll ever come across you don’t have to wait to long for things to be fixed in the apartment so if not nothing else you don’t have to worry about things not getting fixed and them being unreachable or unreliable. It’s cheesy but they kinda feel like family at... Cortland. The gym needs some work from the last time I used it and same with the pool but the management team always plans fun events for us.
