I’ve been living at Apex for a few years now. The apartment culture has drastically declined and it’s not even comfortable anymore. The residents are loud, obnoxious, hallways reeks of weed and apartments are outdated, but the cost of rent keeps increasing w/out updates. The gym is the worst…mediocre at best due to lack of equipment/space and design. It makes me sad because I really loved this community before new Management took over. Is Apex the worst place I've ever lived at? No. But it is very far from being even remotely decent. There are constant fire alarms, the security is a joke, the grounds are constantly dirty and the rent increases every year despite being an older complex with underwhelming amenities. I will not be renewing my lease.

I’ve been living at Apex for over a year and used to love it. However, In the past few months the quality of this complex has gone down drastically. Loud, obnoxious neighbors, subpar amenities, thin ceilings with loud footsteps from above, outdated apartment interior, filthy grounds and hallways with dog poop, pee, and trash scattered around, power and elevators always going out, garage gates not working, and ant and silverfish infested apartments are some of the many problems associated with... living here. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with management. If you post of Facebook a question or something the manager doesn’t like he deletes your post and ignores you. His favorite response is “security is out #1 concern” yet there are no security officers, the access gate arms never work, security cameras aren’t reliable.... not to mention an elevator being down for well over six months. Management will not communicate anything with you if your question or comment is remotely... negative or puts them in a position to have to do any work.

Also be forewarned that he believes (From the complex’s Facebook page) this complex is in Midtown.... that is far from the truth. Don’t let them charge you Midtown rates when it is clearly in West Midtown. Read More
