Avana Acworth is a great place to reside. Access gates always work unless there are those ignorant people that decide to run into it, causing a malfunction. Grounds are always kept up, maintenance always gets the job done when a request is put in, the office always sends out communication when issues are going on. They even recently planned a pool party for the residents which was great. Gotta love this place.

Avana Acworth has potential to be a great community but it takes a community effort. If residents would take a concerted effort to keep the community clean and be more friendly it would make it an excellent place to live.

Safety is a concern. I can’t tell you how many times the gates have be broken and driven into. To the point where they have to tie the gate to keep it up right. sometimes the gate just stays open. last time it took over two weeks to be fixed. Graffiti has also happened twice across the street which should make it more important to limit the occurrence of this. i moved in with the thought of a safe, gated community but it doesn’t feel like it.

Hello there. We completely understand your concern. Although the limited access gates are an amenity, they are not intended to offer any type of safety or security. Unfortunately, the gates do have problems from time to time and need repairs. We... strive to make sure the repairs are done as quickly as possible. We have also recently updated our camera system at the gate entrance so hopefully this will help with those driving through.The graffiti across the street was definitely an eye sore and luckily the city was able to get that taken care of.
