Ive lived here for almost 2 years now. The first year we absolutely LOVED it. The last 6 months have been awful. Our apartment was infested with Ants, landlord did NOTHING about it. Would offer pest control but you need to miss work. When I went to move out ALL my stuff smelt musty and moldy. Landlord told me it was my fault for shutting off the air conditioner. The apartment has ZERO ventilation at all. And then when I mentioned it, she told me she would be putting an abandonment next to my... name for not keeping lights on. It is only legally required to have electricity if you are residing in the place. I am now. ALSO I work for a home building company, we build homes that have ZERO VENTILATION for MONTHS and NO MOLD GROWTH AT ALL. This place needs to be smashed down to the block and rebuilt again. The proper way. The landlord and maintence guy are brother and sister who rent the ONLY 2 bedroom apartments in the complex. Please be careful renting from this place. It's like living in a cottage environment and things are usually quiet. Location is close to everything and easy to get to. The property manager is a pleasure to deal with and most the tenants are very friendly. Have not had any issues the year I've been here.
