Promises promises. That is what this management firm is; just promises. We were the first to move in to their “ renovated “ apartments. First big storm, water POURED into the apartment through the windows! They send somebody out and he says there is nothing wrong with the windows to them but to us he says nothing he can do. They were in serious need of replacement. So we get these screens instead that hindered the water view that we got this place for. Then it was air conditioning that was... not fixed because “ management spent all the money”. Then it was in 8 weeks you will get your laundry facilities back. This was May 2021. where to even start? i’ve been here almost a year, and am counting down the days until my lease is up. I have no in unit washer & dryer, which wasn’t that bad until they decided to rip out all of the washers & dryers to make a club house. a freaking club house. who needs somewhere to wash your clothes when you have a community pool table am i right?!?! oh but they did leave 3 washers & 3 dryers in a tiny little room at the next complex over. you can MAYBE wash your clothes there if you’re lucky... but 9/10 times at least 2 of each machine will be BROKEN!! & they don’t fix it for months.
speaking of not fixing things, i noticed a leak in my shower when i first moved in. called matinence to come fix it. matinence proceeds to hammer into my shower, saying they need to fix it from inside. they didn’t finish, & said they’d be back next week to finish it. that was 8 months ago. for the past 8 months i have had a fat, gaping hole in my shower covered by nothing except plastic tarp and duct tape :)
the “renovations” & “upgrades” they did to these apartments are an absolute joke. i only have about 3 or 4 outlets in my whole apartment that actually work, nothing will stay plugged into them :) pieces of my countertop have started to break & peel off, because it’s just cheap laminate. everything in my bathroom has also started to turn yellow. the baseboards, grout in the shower, the walls. because, again, cheap half a$$ed “renovations”
oh & if you like your car, make sure you don’t get an apartment on the right side of the complex because you will bottom out your car in the HUGE freaking pothole in the middle of the lot every single time you try to park! so nice how they’ve fixed all the other parking lots except the one that needs it! :)
seriously, living here has been nothing short of a nightmare. you simply can’t trust these old complex’s that have been “renovated” & “upgraded”. spend the extra money & go somewhere newer, it’ll save you multiple headaches. Read More

Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Ascend Apartments, I love this community because the environment here is beautiful and amazing view of the Bay from the apartment. The apartment are spacious and great natural lighting. What I really like is it's very near to the downtown and Restaurants and grocery stores. This place is beautiful!
