Covey Homes Jennings Place is such a good place to rent from! Their maintenance staff response so fast and they’re educational about what they’re doing and when to call them next! The paperwork and process to begin renting wasn’t hard at all. They made it very easy to tour as you did your own walk through in an empty house which was great! While the house has some issues (cheap flooring, messy paint job and a few cheaper appliances) the overall experience is great and I’d choose them over again!

It’s a nice neighborhood, residents have been nice. Management team may make you feel unwelcoming but overall besides the pest control and poor inspection before we moved in it’s not a bad place to stay. But it’s not perfect by any means.

New to neighborhood so far enjoying. Staff has been accommodating and friendly. Yard is fenced in and house are spacious great for pets. Driveway can park four vehicles. Community seems kept up and neat.

Nickel and dime for lies with attitude
- no proper inspection when you move in - the grass mowing is inconsistent - they aren’t transparent with information when you are moving out. - ant issues and fire ant issues that aren’t ever fully addressed - pool isn’t cleaned well. Always food wrappers and bugs - called to tell them we missed our deadline to give our notice to vacate by a couple days. Told me it was NO problem! They’d just move our date of move out by a couple of days… try to pay for last month rent and they charged us not... only a 100$ fee for “month to month” fee but also stacked on extra saying our regular rent is now added on charges of “prorated fee”. I said I was told it was no problem.. they said it wasn’t their responsibility bc it is in our lease…I said they should be transparent when telling people no problem instead. Unless the three women get their way in management they will give attitude. It’s not professional it’s unsightly behavior to not communicate clearly and effectively without being rude. It’s just old mean girls

I wanted to take a moment to address a... few of the concerns mentioned in your review and provide full transparency.
Regarding your home condition at move-in: While we perform thorough inspections prior to each resident’s arrival, there are times when something may be missed. That is why we request all new residents complete a move-in inspection form, so that any issues not previously caught can be resolved promptly. Based on the form you submitted, the only concern noted was a paint splatter on the floor. If there were additional concerns, they were unfortunately not reported to our office, and therefore we were not given the opportunity to correct them.
In terms of pest control, service requests are required to be submitted for liability and tracking purposes. Our records indicate that only one request was submitted and addressed by our pest control provider. If there have been any ongoing issues, please know that we are happy to assist, and encourage you to submit a request through the Resident Portal at any time.
Concerning the pool area, our maintenance team cleans the pool each morning. That said, we do understand the challenges that come with Florida’s natural environment, and we are committed to maintaining a clean and enjoyable space. We’ve recently increased the frequency of cleanings in the pool and bathroom areas due to higher usage and resident activity. We also kindly ask that all residents dispose of their trash properly to help keep the area pleasant for everyone.
Lastly, in regard to your notice to vacate: per the lease agreement, a 60-day written notice is required. Because your notice was submitted past this window, prorated rent and a month-to-month fee were applied as outlined in the lease terms. We understand this may be frustrating, but our goal is to always be fair and consistent in applying the terms of the lease for all residents.
We always strive to communicate respectfully and professionally, and we’re sorry to hear that your recent interaction felt otherwise. Our team is here to support you, and we welcome the opportunity to address any additional concerns in person or over the phone.
