The new owners who took over in June 2025 have made needed improvements to the property. They've increased trash pickup to several times per week so no more overflowing dumpsters. The staff is professional and responsive!
All maintenance requests are handled almost immediately! Pest control is now monthly and in-unit, as opposed to just exterior previously. Although, I can say I've been here for 15 months and never had any insects in my unit.
Can't beat this beautiful waterfront property... location! Conveniently located, safe, and friendly.
Highly recommend!

Emerald shore apartment
This is the worst place. They don’t answer their phones and never in office to speak to them . The trash dumpster is overflowing disaster

Great experience—would recommend!
I lived at Sound View this past year. The staff was very professional, helpful, and kind. Maintenance was prompt and effective. One time they fixed my A/C before I realized it was not working! My apartment was clean—no pests or bad smells, and the facilities are attractive. My end unit had large windows which provided ample light all day, and maintenance installed screens upon request so I could open my windows for fresh air. I am only leaving because I am a student and need to live closer to... school. Otherwise I would stay! Highly recommend!!

Would never recommend, regret living there, overpriced apartments with old, out of style, outdated interiors, no amenities whatsoever, loud, rude, noisy neighbors, constant racket outside, very annoying and intrusive

RIDICULOUSLY, UNFAIRLY OVERPRICED, CHEAPLY BUILT, EXTREMELY OUTDATED APARTMENTS THAT ARE PRICED, PROMOTED & FALSELY ADVERTISED AS LUXURY APARTMENTS. THE INTERIORS ARE DUMPS WITH ANCIENT COUNTERTOPS, CABINETS, APPLIANCES, CHEAP, DAMAGED CARPET & CREAKY FLOORING. FRONT DOORS THAT ARE TOO SMALL FOR THE DOOR FRAMES ALLOWING HEAT & COLD INSIDE, RESULTING IN TREMENDOUSLY HIGH POWER BILLS. UNSAFE, UNSTABLE EXTERIOR STAIRS & RAILS. TOILETS, DISPOSALS, ICEMAKERS & WATER HEATERS (AWFUL COLD SHOWERS) THAT... DON'T WORK. UNSEALED WINDOWS ALLOWING THE HEAT & COLD INSIDE. TENANTS ARE INSUFFERABLY NOISY, RUDE & INCONSIDERATE. CONSTANT LOUD, ANNOYING, NONSTOP RACKET 24/7. Read less
