I’ve lived at Avidity Living for a little over 3 years, and while the apartments themselves are nice, the overall resident experience has gone downhill significantly.

My biggest issue has been management and maintenance responsiveness. I recently had a problem with my kitchen sink disposal and did not get a meaningful response for about two weeks. When someone finally came out, I was told they did not have the right tools and would return the next day. That did not happen. After another long... delay and no real follow-up, my wife had to call the emergency line just to get someone’s attention. Eventually, the property manager and an office staff member came and tried to fix it themselves by doing the same basic thing maintenance had already done. It briefly worked, but very loudly, and I was told someone would come back within a week to replace it. That still did not inspire much confidence, and now the disposal motor is dead. Not to mention the requests that get noted as “completed” but no work was done. Even the simplest request takes weeks to even get a response. My expectation is never to have things fixed right away, however having to consistently wait 2-3 weeks for an acknowledgement is unacceptable.

That experience really captures the larger issue here: things feel improvised instead of properly handled. Over the time I’ve lived here, I’ve seen the property experience decline, especially in terms of responsiveness and follow-through. “Comfort living” should mean more than a decent-looking apartment. It should also mean reliable maintenance, clear communication, and management that treats long-term residents fairly.

There have been multiple reviews posted about security gates always being open. I’ve also had concerns about security and access issues, including times when gates were open and building entry access did not seem consistently secure. To this day those issues are not resolved. At a minimum, that has added to my frustration about how the property is being managed.

Most recently, I was also surprised by new pet-related charges that were not clearly addressed upfront during my renewal process, which only added to my concern about transparency.

This will be my last lease here. The apartments may look nice, but prospective residents should pay close attention to how management communicates, how maintenance issues are handled, and whether the overall experience matches what is being advertised. Read More

Super noisy neighbor up at all hours of the night and day - no pattern to it - called security multiple times - prior neighbors never made a sound for a year and suddenly this neighbor is super noisy and I’m getting no sleep - office says they can’t do anything- I’m at the end of my rope so moving out - office did offer me another apartment but moving at my expense no free month or anything- also every month it seems something is breaking - takes a long time to get anything fixed these days -... sad because it is a nice place but I need sleep to live Read More

I moved in earlier this month and I have enjoyed being here ever since I have moved in. I would recommend anyone in the area looking for an apartment to move in here

From the day I moved in, my apartment has smelled like bacon. Despite deep cleaning, using air fresheners, and candles, the smell has never gone away. I was told it would be addressed, but no one has ever followed up. I also had to throw away food multiple times due to a malfunctioning fridge. After four or five service requests, it was finally replaced. Maintenance is hit or miss. They don’t call ahead to schedule appointments even when requested, and the office staff is rarely in the office or... responsive to phone calls. At times, I’ve called for days with no answer or return call, which makes it feel like they don’t prioritize tenants or new residents. The positive side is the location is very convenient, and the neighbors make it a pleasant community. But overall, the lack of responsiveness and upkeep from management makes living here far more frustrating than it should be. Read More
