My experience living here was one thing. My move-out experience was something entirely different.

After a decade of paying rent and being a long-term resident, I expected a reasonable and fair assessment of my unit. Instead, I was met with what felt like a coordinated effort to justify every possible charge, regardless of age, depreciation, or the reality that many apartment... components naturally reach the end of their useful life after 10 years.

What was most disappointing wasn’t even the charges themselves—it was the attitude behind them. Every concern was met with carefully crafted explanations, lease citations, and lengthy justifications designed to defend the charges rather than genuinely evaluate whether they were fair.

There was no acknowledgment of tenant longevity, no meaningful consideration of normal aging of fixtures, and no indication that a long-term resident’s history mattered in the slightest. The overall message was very clear: once you’re moving out, you become a balance sheet.

The most frustrating part was the feeling that the outcome had already been decided before the conversation even started. Questions were answered, but nothing was truly reviewed. Every response felt less like customer service and more like a legal defense strategy.

If you choose to live here, assume that every conversation, every fixture, every wall, and every move-out item may eventually become a charge you need to defend. Keep records, save emails, take photos, and know your lease inside and out.

Me encanta el lugar, es muy tranquilo. Los apartamentos tienen buen mantenimiento y el personal es muy amable. Además de que están muy bien localizados.

I've lived at The Finley for 2 years and I've had a pretty good experience. The maintenance is incredible! If I put a work order in at 10:00 a.m. it's normally done by 3:00 p.m. and to let me know that they've been in the apartment they'll leave a light on. The neighborhood is also pretty quiet, not a lot goes on in the area.
