Kathleen enjoys community involvement which has included Main Street USA (revitalizing downtown areas) and affordable housing initiatives. When the economic recession hit in the late 80s, Kathleen became the real estate expert in the management, sale, and disposition of a nearly 30 million dollar loan portfolio for a local Commercial Bank. By the time she departed her Commercial Banking career, her bank was ranked in the top three for loan quality, up from the 3rd worst bank, in the statewide organization.
