I previously read reviews ahead of my move-in at Riverpoint which initially put me in fear of the entire community but I decided to take the chance and actually move in due location. Turned out to be the best decision of my life - the overall community is welcoming, everyone’s pretty friendly, and you have everything you can have for all within the building. Overall great leasing agents, sometimes you have to see things for yourself and not follow reviews.

This property has ZERO security and no accountability. This "Luxury" residence is more like a college dorm. There are constant parties with music blasting at all hours of the night. Fights breaking out almost every weekend. There was a MURDER in the building and the manager Brian insists that there is ample security. Ive never met somebody more out of touch with their property and unwilling to take any responsibility for what is occuring in the building. I was even lied to when i brought up the... lack of cameras. There are only cameras in the common areas but that doesnt matter because there is nobody there to enfore rules if anything occurs. A single security guard is there for a total of 20 hours a week, and management takes the weekends off so even if an incident happens there is NOBODY THERE. Residents are told to contact the police for everything because its not their problem. They use the Metro police department like their personal security team instead of taking initive and making changes. The only thing they will tell you is we contacted our lawyers. The building is full of non residents, agressive dogs, and sketchy people. You cant possibly have a family in a residence like this and it is not safe. Its hard to fathom that such a beautiful property with incredibly views has been run into the ground by quite possibly the worst management team in all of DC.

Until they have a new property manager that is willing to adress these issues i would avoid this building at all costs. The views are not worth your safety. Read More

Violence, unchecked partying with people passed out in the halls, hidden fees, HVAC issues, paper thin walls, make Riverpoint the opposite of what I had hoped for when I moved in. Most residents moving out after their lease and many breaking leases too.
