I'm so glad to be out before another horrible summer. It's a terribly managed building and it is beyond hot and uncomfortable in the summer. They don't care. Just don't rent there.

Stay away. The cheaper rent is NOT worth it!!
Do NOT rent with Equity unless you don’t want to sleep a wink! The building management is completely useless. The entrance on the building’s west side has been broken for weeks. Not only is it making an earth shattering nerve shuddering slam at all hours of the day and night, it is also a HUGE security issue!
Maintenance is completely ignoring the tickets submitted. Instead of fixing it properly, they have put up a paper sign putting the onus on residents to close the door gently. Would... severely not recommend. The cheaper rents are not worth it.

Worst place I have ever lived
Everything about this place is bad and it's so overpriced. Yes, the location is perfect but the management is poor, it's always loud, fire alarms go off frequently, I had bugs on numerous occasions and just sincere lack of community. Would not recommend this place at all.

Pests, Extremely Hot Apt - Not worth the saving!
I am still currently living in this building and I can't wait to leave it. Although you get fairly quick answers from the maintenance people, I have had 9 months on my lease and I am still waiting for them to fix the pest issues among paint and doors malfunctioning. They come "fix it" and its fixed for a day. They don't do real fixing just masking.
On top of it my apartment is always hot, except middle of Jan with the only air vent closed and window open. It really is terrible and summer... can be unbearable!
And don't even get me started about the noise. Its in the middle of the city so it obviously will be noisy, but noise here gets amplified especially when you need to have your windows open because the temperature and airflow is terrible.
I know the location is great and they are cheaper than most around the area, but don't get fooled is it not worth the saving.

Not Worth It
The people in the leasing office are awful and petty. I would recommend you look anywhere else but a building owned by Equity.
