If you ever have an issue beyond a maintaining request, consider it ignored. The property manager is rude and is perfectly fine with the lack of security and overall filth in the hallways. Residents rarely pick up after their dogs and upon complaining they sent an email and nothing happened. The gated garage door has regularly been broken allowing cars to get broken into. My keyfob once broke and it took 32 hours for management to help me, I was locked in until then. The pool is always open in... the summer but needs adult-only hours because the lifeguards do not care about the kids running into other adults. I am completely anticipating having to pay for nonsensical things after move out.

Poorly Managed
This is not run like a high end property. The level of service is very poor for the price you pay. The common areas are dirty, the trash rooms disgusting, and just about anybody can get into the building.

Noisy building with no help from staff
6 months in this apartment and 6 months of constant banging from every direction. I can't relax, I can't sleep. Management has informed me that my options are to suck it up or get out. I've lived in apartments a quarter this cost with better soundproofing and better response to noise issues. Find somewhere else to live.

Excess charges at move out
There were damages to the fridge/freezer unit when I moved in and I documented these. I have now moved out and Avalon charged me $300 for these damages that were already there. Avalon refuses to even review the dispute. I have seen that other people have been cheated of their money after move-out as well. Be very careful about living here. If you value your money never live at any Avalon.
Would give 0 stars if I could.

Beware of excess charges
Weeks moving out I received $440 bill with out explanation. It is extremely difficult to receive a management response or call back. Some time later after many calls I received an explanation that since there was a scratch on the refrigerator they replaced both doors! I noticed no scratches on the the appliance and was not offered the opportunity for a walk through. There are many other similar reviews online that I regret not reading prior to moving in.
