Terrible property management
The property management is awful, im not a tenant but a neighbor who has to witness police constantly coming to take photos of the exposed electrical cords outside, as well as the rubbish the spills out of the dumpsters, this property seriously needs new management and owner

Harebrained Excuses
Management is saying that they cannot do anything about marijuana for the following reasons. 1. They "walked the building" and found nothing. This fellow did not even enter my apartment , or probably anyone else's. The smell may indeed may not be detected in the halls. 2. They cannot do anything if the smell is coming from outside. The fact is that the smell is way too strong and constant for it not to originate in a unit within the building, and close to where the smell is detected. If it... came from outside, the news would be explaining what it is and many other people would be complaining. (Of course this excludes the possibility that someone stands under the window of the said apartment several days a week or more and blows it straight up.) In the meantime, anyone who does not like the smell is suffering and is exposed to second hand smoke. There are legal ways, that they can enforce their own rule of non smoking. More importantly, there is an implied warranty of habitability, which I have no question is not being met, regardless of whether every judge would agree.
Additionally, the building's cooler stopped working. No explanation was given to me by management/ maintenance when I asked. That could at least help a bit with the marijuana stench, and certainly with the summer heat. No response when asked or promise to repair. No ability to answer the door or let delivery people in remotely. These things were taken care of for the last 20 years or so by the previous management, until the Wheelhouse took over. Responsibility of course rests, though, with the owners of the building, most likely.
Other than the lack of logic, concern, honesty, place is nice if you love marijuna.

Lack of Response to Major Problems
Intercom not repaired.
Maintenance items not necessarily done.
Stench of marijuana, often strong, with management not doing much about it, other than, "send letters". Disgusting. Building rules prohibit smoking.

Buzzer Not Being Repaired
This building changed ownership in December of last year. Since then, the intercom and buzzer which allows tenants to let visitors and deliveries in has not been working. It had been working before the building was sold. There is at least one tenant who is usually not able to actually go down and open the doors due to disability.
