We got a new property manager a few months ago who is a million times better than previous management, and I think she deserves a shoutout.
I love living here so far and the front office people are great! The location is UNBEATABLE. Most places in the area are on busy/crowded streets but here it feels like a neighborhood and my friends rarely have issues finding a parking spot on the street. I feel safe in the area but also so close to a lot (Broncos arena, Coors field, Ball arena, highland... square, all the stuff in Lohi of course, LoDo). The garage did become a little bit of a mess for a couple weeks when the commercial people moved in but management was proactive and got us night patrol and new parking passes, so its even better than before.
Every time I have had an issue, they have gone above and beyond to help me fix it. Maintenance usually responds in a day and if they can't get something done immediately they go out of their way to give me updates when they see me walking around. The gate broke a couple times and they immediately fixed it, whenever something goes wrong or breaks, management starts fixing it IMMEDIATELY and THATS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. Sometimes, when equipment breaks you have to wait for parts, that is just reality, but I have never felt dismissed when I have had an issue.
There is a review that mentions that the yoga studio can be very loud. Just something to be aware of if you want to live next to/on top of them. I rarely hear my upstairs neighbors or the yoga studio from my apt!
I looked at a lot of apartments in the area and if I could go back and choose again I'd still choose this building.

Look Elsewhere
My experience at LoHi Gold has been extremely frustrating. While the property looks nice on the surface, I’ve had repeated issues with maintenance, communication, property management, and the overall handling of problems.
Issues have taken far too long to resolve. Communication has also been inconsistent, and I’ve often felt like I’ve had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic issues addressed.
The overall experience has left me very disappointed with both the condition of the property and... how residents’ concerns are handled. Based on my experience, I would look elsewhere.

So Many Issues, Not Valuing Tenants, and Dismissive Management
I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience at LoHi Gold. What started as an AC/roof failure that caused significant water damage turned into weeks of displacement, repeated repair delays, and ongoing problems even after I moved back in.
My apartment was uninhabitable for several weeks. The original repair timeline was repeatedly pushed back, and the temporary accommodations were not a reasonable substitute for my home. I had to move my belongings back and forth between my apartment and the... temporary unit, much of it during the work week, and the poor Wi-Fi in the model unit interfered with working from home.
When I returned, there was significant drywall dust and construction debris, including dust throughout my closet and inside my shoes. Management acknowledged the cleaning and ceiling repair were not up to standard. I spent significant time cleaning up after the contractors, and the ceiling repair still does not blend properly with the surrounding ceiling.
While I was displaced, a tour group was allowed to unlock and enter the model unit I was staying in, despite being specifically told not to schedule tours. Shortly after moving back, my water was shut off in the middle of my shower without advance notification, and my parking gate access stopped working.
The parking situation is another major issue. The gate has repeatedly been broken or left open, allowing unauthorized vehicles into the lot and making it difficult for residents to find parking. I’ve also experienced uncomfortable encounters with people entering the lot while the gate was open. Additional parking spaces are now being removed for a retail tenant despite the lot already regularly being at or over capacity.
There have been ongoing issues with communication, maintenance, security, cleanliness, and property management. The most frustrating part is having to repeatedly follow up and spend my own time dealing with problems that should have been handled by management.
I have documented these issues with photos and emails. Management has acknowledged several problems, but the overall response has been a $150 credit, which doesn't come close to reflecting the weeks without normal use of my apartment or the disruption this caused.
The building looks nice on the surface, but my experience has been that problems are allowed to drag on far too long. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if reliable maintenance, responsive management, and adequate parking availability are important.

Property Manager at LoHi Gold responded to this review
Thank you for sharing your additional feedback. We are sorry that the water intrusion and restoration process resulted in such a disruptive experience. We recognize that portions of the restoration and final cleaning did not initially meet our... expectations, and those concerns were addressed with the vendors involved. Our team worked throughout the process to provide temporary accommodations while repairs were completed, coordinate restoration efforts, address follow-up concerns, and provide a resident credit in recognition of the inconvenience. We understand, however, that these efforts do not eliminate the frustration associated with being displaced from your home. We also recognize the concerns raised regarding parking, garage access, and communication. Our team continues to actively address garage access issues and parking management while balancing the needs of residents and the community's commercial tenant. We take resident concerns seriously and remain committed to addressing reported issues, improving communication, and providing a positive experience for our community. LoHi Gold Management

Look elsewhere to get your moneys worth
This place is slightly cheaper than many of the surrounding area apts for great reason. No one cares to maintain the building.
Here is a list of issues that I have had since living here for the past year: 1. Moved into an apt with issues INITIALLY. Fridge was filthy from prior tenant. The washing machine was covered in black mold. The dishwasher leaked into downstairs yoga studio. These issues were addressed but only after significant push back on my end. 2. Apartment WIDE ISSUES: a.... DIRTY DOG RUN:The dog run is typically filthy with diarrhea and my dog has gotten sick. I have sent messages (as have others) to ask that it please be sterilized more frequently and have never received a response about this. b. Coffee machine is OFTEN not working and is not cleaned routinely and so coffee has often been undrinkable. This is an amenity that we pay for. c. POOR SECURITY: Even when paying for a parking spot in the "secured" garage, prepare for the gate to typically be up/ no security to prevent someone from coming right into the development and breaking into your car. Also the gate has been broken for almost 1/2 the time that I have lived in the building (no joke at least 5 times it has been "broken". d. The gym is always FILTHY and at least one of the machines has been broken for the ENTIRE year that I have lived there. I escalated this when I first moved in and it has never been addressed. e. At least one of the elevators is not working fairly regularly. f. LOUD if above yoga studio. My apartment vibrates a few times per day.
Wishing you a better renting situation than the one I had!

Overpriced and loud
These apartments are extremely overpriced for the amenities. Also the yoga studio blasts music all day that shakes the apartments
