I lived at 1600 Glenarm Place for about a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a really solid experience. The location is hard to beat — right in the heart of downtown Denver, with tons of restaurants, bars, and entertainment just steps away. The apartments themselves are modern and clean, and the views from the floors are amazing, especially at night.

The staff are friendly and responsive whenever I needed help, and the building amenities (gym, rooftop area, and lounge) are all well-kept.

If...
you’re looking for a convenient, upscale place in the middle of everything, 1600 Glenarm is a great choice.

1600 Glenarm is a beautiful property with the best location in downtown. The rooms are excellent with large size, beautiful views and new finishes. The amenity package is top notch with the full service gym, valet parking, and skydeck. You can walk to anywhere in downtown from here, and are just steps away from transit. Amazing place in a great location, highly recommend to anyone looking to live downtown.

The Living at 1600

Living at 1600 Glenarm Place has been disappointing. The building struggles with constant vandalism and graffiti on the walls and carpets, which makes it feel neglected. The elevators are another ongoing problem it’s frustrating to see them constantly breaking down, and instead of resolving the issue, TKE (the elevator company) seems to be draining the owners for money while allegedly sabotaging repairs.

For a high-rise in the middle of downtown, the lack of professional security is alarming....
Northland, the investment company that owns the property, clearly doesn’t want to invest in real security, and it shows. The building also isn’t cleaned or maintained to the standard expected for its location and price.

The valet service also needs serious improvement. The team often misses key details, and the overall service falls short of what residents should expect from a high-rise of this caliber.

That said, the on-site management team deserves recognition. While Greystar, the building’s management company, doesn’t have the best reputation overall, the current on-site staff are doing everything they can with the limited resources they’re given. I’ve lived here long enough to see several different teams come and go, and the group we have now is outstanding: Chris (Engineering Manager), Erin (Supervisor), Stephanie (Property Manager), Adam (Assistant Property Manager), Bre (Leasing Agent), Madyson (Leasing Agent), Lina, and Tyler (Concierge). They work tirelessly to improve a building that ownership continues to neglect.

It’s truly disheartening to see a team put in so much effort while Northland sits back, collects money, and shows little interest in the progress or quality of their investment.

Until ownership takes responsibility for security, cleanliness, and respects the recommendations of the management team, it’s hard to recommend living at 1600 Glenarm Place.
