Based upon some of the previous reviews I can see why there is lack of assistance and communication. Based on my experience I did a scheduled tour recently and was told to go online to submit an application. I was not able to schedule my move in date. After living here for a year and wishing I'd not signed another year lease, I can safely say this complex isn't all it seems. Neighbors are increasingly inconsiderate. My wife and I can hear the toddlers below us running around for 6+ hours a day with nothing being done about it. Ants are everywhere. Parking is a crapshoot depending on what time you arrive (8am-11am is fine, after that good luck). People drive through the complex with their radio cranked to max. ZERO STAR IS APPROPRIATE!!!I have lived in this apartment for three years and the services are really poor . The external apartments are dirty; staircase and surroundings. There are always dumpster divers rummaging through trash and possible a property to vandalize. Most residents have checkered past with is a scary situation; I experienced a situation of a resident willfully pouring tons of water on my vehicle below his apartment. I don’t know if that was race motivated or just pure hate; cops... were also called. High school student gather in the apartment parking lot to smoke weed and cops are called as a result. The management was great about resolving issues in and outside the units. The property was kept clean. The grounds are dog friendly. Sierra Oaks is convenient to both Turlock and Highway 99 to get to Modesto or Merced.

The apartments were solid. The fixtures in the units could vary depending upon when the last renovation was done. The pool and workout space are great. They are centrally located so not far from either side of the complex. Maintenance was responsive and got work done. The... apartment above us was vacant and the water heater in it started knocking which they gladly fixed when we brought it to their attention.

There were only 2 cons. The train is super loud on the west side of the complex and can be felt throughout. The gate is almost always open so don't count on it for security. Read More
