I have lived at Tempo for over 2 years and the community has been the best renting experience I have ever had. The location is great, the gym has everything you could ask for and Rick in the maintenance department is always helpful and follows up on all work requests. Savannah in the the leasing office is fantastic, she is always helpful and makes sure all your community needs are met. 5-star.

I have been at tempo for a year now. During this year a lot has happened. While back in Georgia on maternity leave for 4 month the apartment above me caught fire and caused damage to my apartment. I was called immediately and kept in the loop of everything going on. They moved my stuff to a nearby apartment. When I returned they helped me with my insurance claim in a timely manner and help get fees waivered because of the incident. I feel super safe. packages don’t get stollen from your door.... People are friendly. I lost my keys and someone turned them into the front office for me. The staff has been nothing but helpful to me. I would recommend this place to anyone. I absolutely love it. I moved into Tempo when it was first built. The management at that time was helpful, friendly and available. Now, it is another matter. First, whatever you give to the management (paperwork, rent, etc), make sure you make a copy -- papers have a way of disappearing. (As a side note one of my neighbors gave the management her rent monies, and they claimed they never received it, she had to fight for weeks to get it cleared up.) I provided my 30 day notice, gave it to the Manager, who said I... would be called to schedule an appointment for the inspection. Mysteriously the paperwork disappeared and I never received the call, so I called them (I moved out of state) to see what was going on. After leaving many unreturned messages on the answering machine, I FINALLY got in touch with a person to ask about the inspection date. At that time I was told they were charging ME an extra day's rent because the inspection was a day later then my move out date. Never mind I was told something different and had attempted on many occasions to contact them to schedule a date. When I reached the "new" manager, she became angry, belligerent and refused to give me the number of the Management Company so that I could call them. That was March 4th. At first look Tempo apartments common space looks clean. The hallway carpets are stained with dog urine and other stains. In some areas it smells. The trash chute rooms are filthy. The one near my unit has had spills for over 6 months. The chutes are disgusting. Sometimes I need to hold my breath to empty the trash. The landscaping near the office is well maintained, but other areas are horrible. Elevators are not clean, exterior stairwells are usually dirty. I've pointed this out to managers... and the answer comes down to too few employees for this complex. I'm moving out?? Better, cleaner and less expensive alternatives though it would not be overpriced if maintained properly. Read More
