Park in the gated driveway and use the shed in the backyard for extra storage. Room #3 is carpeted and rents for $1,150. The home is safe, alarmed, with cameras, but no cameras inside the house. 11 min drive to downtown Carlsbad or 15 min to downtown Oceanside.

Room 4 is on the opposite side of the house with a private entrance and is perfect for someone looking for more space and privacy. We will share the kitchen, living room, and backyard. ABOUT ME: I’m 34, quiet and will be your only housemate. I enjoy hiking, fitness, riding my motorcycle, and DIY projects to improve the house. My last housemate moved out after 3.5 years because she retired and moved back to Wisconsin. Sometimes I have family visit from New Jersey or Las Vegas and they will stay in my second room. My parents are retired and will stay for a few weeks at a time, but they like to cook so hopefully you’ll enjoy the food while they are here. I work M-F during the day in an office. I’m a federal government employee (tech supervisor) so NOT 420 friendly. I’m not someone who likes parties at home, but I understand if you want to do a 4th of July BBQ or something like that.
