If I were to review my own house, this would be the review:
“I spent a month living in this cozy two-bedroom, one-bath house and it struck a solid balance between livability and location for a longer LA stay. The single bathroom connects the bedrooms, and while that layout might not be ideal for everyone, it worked well for us.
The living room gets great natural light and felt genuinely welcoming after a long day. I often found myself on the porch, sipping coffee at the table surrounded by lush potted plants—a calming little urban oasis.
The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but not cramped. Both beds have queen memory foam mattresses and I genuinely slept like a baby. The bathroom was clean, had solid water pressure.
The place is overall clean, though it does show signs of normal wear—some scratches on the bedroom floor, dust on blinds and picture frames here and there. Nothing deal-breaking, but if you’re looking for pristine perfection, just calibrate your expectations.
The kitchen had enough counter space for me to cook regularly, though I did wish for just a little more elbow room when meal-prepping. Still, I had what I needed, and being able to cook at home made the stay more affordable and comfortable.
Having dedicated parking in this neighborhood is gold. That said, the neighbors park on one side of the driveway, so it took a little finesse to navigate around them, but it was worth it to avoid the street parking hunt.
Fast, reliable internet made working from home a breeze. I had Zoom meetings, uploaded files, streamed movies—never had a hiccup. And it was nice to be able to have my own dedicated desk to work from, instead of at the dinner table for instance.
If you're looking for a clean, functional, pet-friendly base with fast internet, real beds, and a touch of character, this house is a solid pick. It’s not flawless, but it’s comfortable, livable, and surprisingly easy to settle into. Just don’t expect luxury—expect a warm, practical home that delivers on the essentials.”
