Location great....sound proofing not so much.....lived on the bottom floor and could here every footstep coming from our upstairs neighbor not to mention if they are doing exercise the whole apartment at the bottom unit starts to vibrate. You can also make out conversations heard on either side of the walls. If you looking for peace and quiet look else where
