“Poor Response to Move-In Concerns I am very disappointed with how my move-in concern has been handled.
When I toured the apartment, the unit was still under construction and being prepared. I could not even enter the kitchen because a couple of cleaning staff were working in there. I therefore had no opportunity to properly inspect the kitchen sink. If I had been able to see the sink clearly, I would never have accepted a used and heavily scratched sink.
After moving in, I brought the... condition of the sink to Tyra’s attention and asked if it could be replaced. Tyra responded that she could not help with the matter. Management later confirmed that they would not replace the sink, even though the scratches and worn condition were already present when we moved in.
I find this very disappointing. My concern was not whether the sink functions properly—it was the condition of the sink that I was given at move-in. I expected management to be more willing to address a reasonable concern about an old, visibly scratched fixture.
