Great option if you’re looking to be in close proximity to SF to venture out on the weekends, as well as Oakland and Berk restaurants during the week, in avoiding overpriced suburban Walnut Creek & ultra dense copy cat new construction in richly priced Oakland.

Maintenance requests never get responded to. Apartments look decent but are cheaply built.
You will constantly have to make maintenance requests that never get answered for months.
You can never use the ameneties because they are always broke or the room is flooded. There was a fire in the building and the property manager didn't notify the building tenants until hours later. It was a miracle no pets were hurt. Save yourself the headache and live somewhere else.

Hello, sorry to hear your experience during your time at Cerrito Vista was less than stellar. We are under new management and take our maintenance requests with great concern and resolve it as soon as possible.

Nice building. The worst management company ever. They're only in the office M-F for half days. Getting a reply from them can be like pulling teeth.
-The gym is constantly flooding which causes the building-wide fire alarm to go off (this happened at 4am one day and they couldn't shut it off for hours). This has been a problem for 8 months.
-I've received emails that someone had been found to be sleeping/living in the hallway and needed to be escorted out by police.
-Bicycles and... packages have been stolen because anyone can get into the building from the garage. It is not secured.
-After multiple robberies of packages, they finally started to use the package locker, which had been there since day 1.
-I've been called by delivery people that they cannot get into the building, even though there is someone sitting there in the office.
Please read other reviews of SG Real Estate Co, this is the way they do things- as cheap as possible. I read the reviews but thought the building/move-in special would make up for it........

Called and email multiple times to book an in person tour of the place. The place took over 10 days to reply. I tried to book a tour on three different days over the next week and never got a confirmation to view the place. I gave up afterwards and I’m pretty sure I dodge a bullet moving into this place.
