This apartment is great if you want to have some of the appeal of a house or condo, but don't have the budget. While the units do not have their own washer and dryer, a garage, or dishwasher, they do feel as though you are living without too many neighbors (especially end units) and have a little space to spread out in your own yard.
Cons: Small space overall, old buildings that need lots of updates, plumbing is occasionally problematic (shared cleanouts!), bathroom ventilation is poor,... parking is crowded for multiple cars (first space reserved), laundry facility is small for the number of occupants, and can be very busy/crowded.
Pros: High ceilings, lots of light, nice floor plan for a small apartment, lots of storage, porch and relatively large yard for each unit, new double-pane windows, quiet complex, responsive and capable maintenance staff (but no water for the lawns anymore).

High ceilings with lots of light
This place ended up being a great apartment for us, but it definitely had a few problems.
Pros: protected complex in a nice neighborhood, very close to the beach. Buildings only have 4 attached apartments so you share a max of two walls (no one above or below you). You have a small yard. Big windows, tall ceilings, good square layouts that don't waste a lot of space. LOTS of storage.
Cons: buildings are kind of old and a lot of features feel run down (carpets, showers, kitchen cabinets, etc)... . Our apartment has had some really frustrating plumbing issues that management will only bandaid fix. Parking can be frustrating if you have more than one car.
