Occupants with tenure get it worse.

My apartment complex gets yearly rent increases, and it is definitely not worth it. Vacant apartments have gotten renovations with hardwood floors and updated kitchens, while people who have stayed longer still have the carpeted floors and basic wooden kitchen counter-tops. The rent is definitely not worth paying if you have a tenure here, because they will just keep on increasing it. It's only worth it if you have an updated furniture. Manager isn't the most friendly person. Planning to move... out soon because of recent rent increase. 5 year tenure and the management has gotten worse after we got a new landlord at the 3 year mark.
