Avoid Reveal Apartments (managed by Avenue5) at all costs. I've rented for over 10 years, and this has been by far my worst experience — completely unprofessional, disorganized, and deeply disappointing.
I was promised a “luxury” renovated unit. What I got was a barely livable space: warped floors, chipped mirrors, crooked cabinets, protruding nails on the balcony, a broken washer, and a long list of cosmetic and functional issues. I was shown upgraded finishes and told I’d have soft-close... cabinets — instead, mine are misaligned and stick shut.
The nightmare started on day one. I arrived on my confirmed move-in date, only to be told the unit wasn’t ready — no call, no warning. I waited around for hours before finally getting keys to an apartment even the staff admitted should not have been released. My move-in was ultimately delayed by five days.
I was assured issues would be resolved quickly — they weren’t. I had to constantly follow up for updates. Work orders were closed without any work being done. Communication was nearly nonexistent, and one staff member was consistently rude and dismissive. They claim the property gates lock at 6 PM — they don’t. The gates are always open.
Here’s just a sample of what I walked into:
Warped floors and baseboards, with flooring peeling up in the living room
Chipped cabinets and doors, holes in surfaces, and leftover command strips from the previous tenant
Scratched appliances
Nonworking outlets
Door frames that don’t seal
Holes in the walls and painted-over nails
Sticky residue and debris outside the front door
A washer with no cold water (and the laughable excuse: “cold water doesn’t work in Arizona” — completely false)
I will say the Maintenace team is friendly & respectful.
This property might look appealing during a tour, but don’t be fooled — once you move in, you’re on your own. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from surrounding units. If you expect decent service, timely repairs, honest communication, or to simply receive what you were promised, this is not the place for you.

Definitely Not Luxury or 4/3 Star
This is a roach infested community with monthly hidden fees. Gates never work, cars are stolen, resident vehicles stolen, and deadly crimes have been committed there. Read reviews on site page

Please avoid this complex at all costs!
1. There are added fees on top of the base rent. 2. There are german roaches in many of the buildings. I have talked to neighbors with similar issues despite keeping things clean. 3. I have seen more than 20 vehicles towed. My vehicle was towed on my last day from my parking spot as I was moving boxes into it to move out. It cost me $175 to pick up my vehicle an hour away. They have a contract with a towing company that sits around the complex and takes vehicles away. 4. My neighbor’s car was... broken into. 5. The roof leaked during heavy rains. Water came in from the ceiling and destroyed my keyboard. The office did nothing to reimburse me for this and renter’s insurance did not cover it. 6. The back pool always has a sign up that says “Pool closed”. 7. They will increase your rent when your lease ends, but the prices will be cheaper for new residents only. They do not care about existing residents. 8. They do not allow much to be on the patio and will fine you if something “breaks their rules”. 9. They require a 60 day notice to move out. If you don’t provide this, they will charge you month to month at a ridiculously high rate. In my case, $800 more than my current rate.
I’m not someone to write (bad) reviews, but I’m making an exception so that others don’t have to experience what I did. Please find another place. There are so many better options.

I don't like it but its cheaper than moving
The property doesn't really clean anything. They just seem to blame residents for their problems. Stairway landings are filthy and theres has been trash on my landing for countless months left by people renovating the place.
When I moved into my unit it had a broken window. The management response was to wait until they renovated the units and just put new windows in every unit. Then they made it worse by saving me for last.
They threaten to tow your car if you park backwards. Which i'm not... sure if they can do that cause the tow company on their signs don't even operate here.
I had to replace my air filter and when I took the cover of the whole roof just fell down which was hard to fix.
There is just so much wrong with this place and it is getting slightly better but not worth 2 stars for me.
