Mike is no stranger to hard work; drafted as a pitcher into Major League Baseball, he played 10 years with the Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets organizations. He retired from professional baseball in 1983 and turned his attention to real estate. From the very onset of his real estate career, Mike took the lessons he learned as a professional athlete and adapted them to his business. His work ethic and desire to be the best are ingrained in his psyche and are things he takes to work with him every single day. Mike’s hard work has paid off throughout the years. His success has followed him from Century 21, where he grew in only three years to be a top producer in his office, to Realty Executives where for 11 years he was consistently one of their top producers and was twice awarded as their #1 Producing Agent Internationally. In 1997, Mike made the move to Keller Williams Realty where he continues to earn accolades and provide amazing service to his clients today. Mike has on numerous occasions, been the #1 Producing Team for Keller Williams Realty International. Beyond that, he has taken on an active role with the corporate office of Keller Williams Realty International, sitting on their President’s Advisory Board for four years and has also been awarded the Keller Williams International Entrepreneur of the Year. Beyond his sales career, Mike is the Founder and past Operating Principle of the Northwest Region of Keller Williams Realty International. Starting with zero agents in 1998, and opening 26 offices that house over 4,500 agents all across the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Mike Mendoza has always been passionate about his community and local charities. He chaired the fundraising committees to build his neighborhood YMCA as well as his church. In addition, Mike has chaired and participated in countless charity golf tournaments.
