I've been living here almost a year for some time now, and while the place itself is nice and the location is fantastic—close to everything—I have encountered several frustrating issues.

Firstly, there have been instances where garbage was left in front of my door on two occasions, which is quite bothersome. More alarmingly, there is a severe roach infestation that has become a major concern; I've seen them crawling out of the cracks in my walls. It's disheartening to be charged a pet fee when... these unwanted 'pets' are the real problem.

Additionally, the water situation is quite frustrating. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes for the water to even reach a warm, room temperature, which is inconvenient. To add to this, the Amazon hub box was broken for several weeks around Christmas time.

Horrible maintenance. It has been over four months with the dishwasher broken and we still have not received any correspondence on when it will be fixed. We have placed multiple work orders, called, emailed, and asked in person, yet our dishwasher has not even been looked at once and we have been made many empty promises (i.e., “we will look at it tomorrow”). If you can tolerate unresponsiveness, constant need for pest control consultation, and the pervasive smell of marijuana this place may... work for you. In the meantime we are amenable to discussing this further, seriously (no empty promises), with management.

Update 1 (4/11/2022): Two weeks have passed since the owner’s response, with their promises to learn from their mistakes. I spoke to someone from the office who assured me it would be fixed over the weekend. Here I am still waiting for maintenance on an order that was initially placed in November. Gotta love the “growth” and “learning from mistakes”.

Update 2 (4/27/2022): The office incorrectly marked my work order as completed without even examining that which was broken. The audacity is laudable. Don't waste your time or money. The Parker is a fairly quiet apartment community. The property is not very large and well maintained. Management is helpful and tries their best to keep the communication consistent when dealing with work orders.

I would give this property a 0 if possible. I was a resident for a short period of time in 2021. Due to crime in the area and my job situation, I had to break my lease and move out. The first month of living there, I had $2000 worth of vandalism to my car. My car was not the only one that was vandalized during this time period. The roach problem is a serious issue as well.
