I rented an apartment for one of my employees. My complaint is not so much with the property as how it is managed. The apartments are small with plenty of noise. My lease concludes at the end of June 24, but I turned in the key a couple of weeks early since my employee already moved out. Today is Friday of the same week, they added over $900 in maintenance to the final bill and already sent it to collections all in less than 48 hours. I have already reached out to the Arkansas AG to... investigate whether they violated my rights as a consumer. I had no knowledge of and was not notified of anything. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would...
This place is a rip-off. 1st of all, 50$ application fee, I am fine with that. I go to view the apartment and for whatever reason I gave them an unsigned Money Order... my fault, I shouldn't have done that. I guess I thought that was the deposit and not an Administration Fee????

They then refuse to give back the money order and told me I am unable to view the apartments as they are not finished. I would have to pay for utilities to be... turned on so maintenance could repair/fix/paint the apartment. After I stated no, this is not acceptable... they still refuse to return and told me they already deposited the Money Order.
