Barstone is a well-established apartment community in a great location. They have been renovated and are very spacious apartments. Staff is always willing to help with your needs. It is a great location close to everything.

I have been living here almost 3 months and I love it!!!! David and Scarlett are the best property owners. They’re so kind and treat you like you’re a person. Any maintenance work I’ve needed, they’ve been understanding and quick to help! I recommend living here to anyone

LOTS OF MOLD IN APARTMENTS

Had mold and mildew in my apt as well as a few other neighbors around me that I saw. A neighbor moved out because they refused, with a promise, to correct it for a year and the neighbor finally moved out because of it. Barstone refused to repair my moldy apt also. It was a threatening health hazard and I could not live in it any longer and HAD to get out of it. I cleaned the apt very well and NO damage was done and paid rent threw the time I was there. Barstone kept... my deposit and pet fee AND sent me to a debt collector/ lawyer to collect $1500 saying I skipped out on them. I gave them a letter with 2 weeks notice, paid for the two weeks, cleaned apt with no damage and turned keys in. Yes I broke the lease but I HAD to get out of the dangerous mold because of their fault. They refused to correct the problem! And 2 other neighbors also. Barstone refused to repair my oven which was cooking way too high. And, dog poop was everywhere on the outside premises. My goodness...the power that people have over others to not care.?? Oh, and they hardly ever answer the phone and are OFTEN out of the office during business hours. Highly disappointed. It was very expensive to move and then to move out. Ouch. Read More

The property manager doesn't care about the tenants. We've been struggling for two years with the ancient ac unit in our apartment. We've been told it's doing the best it can do. No plan to replace or compensate us for it not cooling the apartment properly.
