obsessed with living at pirate island tbh the location is unreal — water views, bike path right there, and still super close to everything in madison. my unit is actually cute (not giving outdated vibes like most places lol), and maintenance is fast which is rare. it feels really chill and safe here, like low-key community energy without being annoying. honestly one of the best places i’ve lived

Huge shout out to the maintenance crew at KRE mgmt! The new managers and the staff are actual heroes! The lady who owns it literally texts me or calls me when I put in an order for Pat the maint dude. I love it here. I feel like I’m treated like a real person and not a number.

Living at Pirate Island Apartments over the last two years has been an amazing experience! The location is unbeatable—being on a small island gives it a peaceful, vacation-like vibe, and the updated boardwalk is such a nice touch. I love that I can drop my paddleboard in and enjoy the water whenever I want.
The landscaping is always well-maintained, making the entire community look beautiful year-round. The wildlife with the water and the quiet neighborhood brings a crane every year, I call him... Old Blue.
Maintenance is top-notch; they’re prompt, professional, and always take care of any requests quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure residents feel at home.
If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing place to live with great amenities and a well-kept environment, Pirate Island Apartments is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

This place is tidy, well managed and couldn’t be in a better location. My unit was updated last year and it’s it’s amazing. It’s a gem in the middle of Madison, I feel lucky to have found it! Many long term residents and I always feel safe. I’ve never had more responsive maintenance. You can tell it’s family owned, they care about you and the property.
