There is a reason why they have so much availability... lots of people are moving out because of the turn this place has taken in the last year. Residents safety is not a priority and management is difficult to work with. It's really a shame because the building is beautiful and so are the units. But, ultimately, safety cannot be compromised and if you want to feel cared about as a tenant I would not suggest this place.

Marketed as “luxury"
Marketed as “luxury,” but the experience doesn’t match the price. Trash areas are consistently overflowing, and common spaces are not kept clean. There have also been concerning safety incidents, including a recent shooting that prompted a city investigation. For what residents are paying, this level of maintenance and security is unacceptable.

Thank you for your feedback. We take concerns like yours seriously, and we understand how frustrating these prior issues have been for residents.
Since our recent management transition at Malt House Apartments, we’ve taken several immediate and... meaningful steps to address these concerns and improve the overall living experience.
First, we brought in a professional contractor to fully clear out all trash rooms and resolve the backed-up trash chute. In addition, we’ve established a consistent service schedule with our waste vendor alongside our on-site building technician to ensure trash areas are maintained regularly moving forward.
We have also made significant upgrades to safety and security. The property has transitioned to a fully digital access control system, including the installation of fob-based entry on all doors. Regarding the incident you mentioned, we want to clarify that it was an isolated situation related to a party, not a targeted act. The individual responsible has been given notice and removed from the property.
To further support residents, we now have regularly scheduled on-site maintenance presence, along with a new work order management system. This allows us to better track and respond to service requests, with a current goal of addressing maintenance issues within 24–48 hours.
We recognize that our community must reflect the standards we promote, and we are committed to continuous improvement. We appreciate your feedback as it helps guide these efforts.

We love living at the Malt House!
This building is such a cool & rich piece of history that is so well preserved but also beautifully modern & updated. We feel so fortunate to live here! The apartments are beautiful with updated appliances and modern touches. It The amenities are great, the community here is so friendly, and the management & maintenance are just beyond amazing. You really can’t ask for more!

Great Apartments
Really enjoying my time here so far. Apartments are walking distance to many bars and restaurants and relatively quiet area. Close to many breweries. Newly renovated with a ton of closet space and clean amenities!
