Put simply, this is an old building and nothing works. If you try to use more than one electronic appliance at the same time, you will blow a fuse. This building has a history of neighbors stealing packages!! Not a drop of hot water. The on-site laundry machines never work. BONUS- a wide variety of pests inhabit the building (ants, squirrels, centipedes, etc.)

Great place to live!
I live in a studio apartment currently, and this building is absolutely gorgeous.
From the crown molding to the ornate glasswork on the inside of the apartments, huge bathroom, and other quirky architectural features, this apartment building is excellent for students, couples, the elderly, anyone really.
You've got a grocery store across the street, the post office around the corner, and the best parking in the city right across the street. Not to mention the fact that you're two blocks away... from Cathedral Square park, the epicenter of summer festivals and city life.
My apartment currently is dead silent. The plaster walls and poured stone floors mean that you can't hear footsteps or loud talking from any neighbors. In addition, the unique floor plan of my particular apartment means that I share no walls with another apartments. Pretty cool!
I have a cat, who is allowed to live there at no additional cost, the people in the building are friendly, and Kit, the landlord, is wonderful. They really care about the building and you as a tenant.
If I weren't moving out of state, I would live here for another year or several years without a doubt.
