This place is a hidden gem! The apartment complex is small - only one building, so it's private and quiet. The building itself is tucked back on a dead-end road and it is nestled up against a wooded area. It is so beautiful and serene back here. The building is so quiet that I pretty much never hear my neighbors. "Quiet hours" are enforced and it's very nice that they are! No smoking nor drugs are allowed on the premises as well and these rules are enforced, which is great! Everyone that lives... here is friendly and respects your privacy. Even though the apartment is located close to University Ave, you'd never know it. I can keep my patio door open and only hear birds chirping and the breezes blowing, I barely ever hear the traffic on University Ave. I regularly see deer and turkeys walking around in the woods outside my windows. Birds are numerous. If you are a nature lover, this place can't be beat!
A storage locker is included in rent. Free indoor bicycle storage. There are attached and detached garages available for parking for an extra fee. Laundry machines onsite for a reasonable fee. A small workout room is available as well. The amenities of the building are simple and basic, this is not a new, fancy building, but it still has most things you would need for comfortable living and the building has held up well over time; you can tell they take care of this place. Jon, the apartment manager, is spectacular. He cares about the residents here and is very attentive to emails and calls. He works hard to make this a nice place to live.
The apartment location is also fantastic. Only 20min away from downtown Madison, from West Madison and also from Waunakee. Only 5min away from the heart of Middleton. Marshall Park is basically your back yard and Lakeview Park is an easy 10min walkable distance. Even Pheasant Branch Conservancy is only a 20min walk away. The apartment location is also right off the University Ave bike path, which is super convenient too.
Out of all the apartments I have lived in, which are many, this truly has been one of my favorites. I'm so happy I found this place! I sincerely love it here and feel so lucky to be here.
