Moved in recently and neighbor's dog will not stop barking. Walls are thin and so are the window coverings: do not rent a unit within view of the party lights on the upper deck unless you are nocturnal. Management is unconcerned.

Living at Allen Bay has been phenomenal, especially because of my neighbors and the management team. The property manager has made moving in so much easier and I feel quite welcome here!

Way overpriced for not even being on the lake. In fact, not even a view of the lake! The “lake access” is a public park down the street that literally everyone has access to so why would I pay a premium for that? Like another reviewer said, they advertise that it is waterfront and technically it is… it is on a retention pond that the tour guide kept boasting about. A tiny pond that was dried up a few days after I toured. I drove a long way to tour these apartments, and that's on me because I apparently I should've looked on a map instead of believing the listing. (For the record, per merriam webster, "waterfront" describes property where the land directly touches the water, distinguishing it from a "waterview" (which simply means you can see the water). I did a showing nonetheless since I was already here, and these are quite overpriced for what they offer, in my opinion. I toured, and for the price point, finishes seem very cheap - especially the cabinets. These are priced as very high-end, I guess because they are near the lake. However they are not "waterfront" as advertised, and only a select few units even have a view of the water. The "lake access" is at an adjacent public park, not at all affiliated with this apartment complex. Also - no matter what size apartment you rent, you only get one parking spot, and there is very little street parking. Should you... want to park in the few surface spots affiliated with the apartments, you will then need to walk all the way to one end of the building to gain entry. There are no entry doors on the parking lot side of the building. Not great for hauling in groceries, especially in inclement weather. And not much space for guests to park at all. On top of all this, they will soon be starting on two more 5-6 story buildings in the field right next to these, which is great for those who love the sound of construction for the next two years!
