I lived here for over 3 years and I wasted so much of my life trying to get management to do something to help fix the secondhand smoke problem that persists throughout the building, as well as the incompetency from upper management and even Oakbrook higher-ups themselves regarding criminal activity, continual garbage in the hallways, an elevator that is constantly broken leaving residents stranded even on the weekends.. the issues are endless at Maple Grove Commons. Cheap rent with heat and... water included? There’s a reason for that and it’s not a good one. You’ll regret it.

CIGARETTE SMOKE EVERYWHERE
If you enjoy breathing, I wouldn't recommend moving to Maple Grove Commons. The smell of cigarette smoke permeates everywhere and management does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it ! It's not a safe place to live.

Excellent Property Manager!!
Amanda, the property manager, truly cares about people, her job, and is such a professional!! Amanda has been helpful every time I would ask questions about my apartment, i.e., parking, rent, and maintenance. Renting at Maple Grove apartments has been a great experience and if I wasn't moving out of state, I would continue to make it my home. Thank you Amanda for your help and professionalism!!! It's going to be challenging finding an apartment community as awesome as this one!! Highly... recommend living here at Maple Grove Apartments!!

Management has been amazing! Even after accidentally flooding the place, and causing damage to the other floors, they are working with my budget to make a repayment plan.. the apartment itself is nice, large and not noisy at all. It’s been a great place overall but I’ll be especially thankful next year when the closest bus stop will move closer - about half a block away. I love that my building is wheelchair accessible and has central air instead of an ac wall unit in the least used room in my... home.. the only real downside for me is the carpet in bedroom and living room is so light it shows every little bit of dirt my wheels drag in…
