I enjoyed living at Esker Apartments while I attended school in the area. The management team was always responsive and friendly. The views are beautiful, and the nearby trails are convenient and scenic. If I ever move back to Wisconsin I know where I’ll return.

Enjoyed it
I liked living at The Esker Apartments. I made friends with my neighbors and thought the property management team was responsive. The community gatherings were fun. I would have liked to stay here longer, but my job moved me, and I had to leave the Madison area.

Property has Cockroaches.
Management decided it was appropriate to treat our unit for cockroaches just two weeks prior to our move out without any inspection/evidence of them there. (Neighbors had cockroaches). Our building here is only a year old. They also didn't inform any other residents.

Poor construction quality and management
You can tell this building’s construction was rushed. Poor quality and attention to detail overall. Chipped wood trimming throughout, drywall plastering already cracking,No pool until Summer 2023. Apparently they didn’t know they would need that area for access to finish construction when folks were signing during the Summer of 2021. The manager’s partner also has a habit of not wiping down gym equipment used, even after bringing this up. The property manager at the time also did not wear a mask... to the gym AND did not wipe equipment. Rather than apologizing when this was brought up, I was thanked for the reminder and encouraged to talk to them next time. LOL you shouldn’t need a reminder as a management employee. Not to mention the signs posted on the door…
