I lived at Lake Terrace for over a year and was very happy. The apartments are quiet and clean and close to everything! The staff was great as well! Very responsive and helpful!!

Update: I promised to update so here it is. Owners are nice. That’s about the only positive thing I have to say.

Let me start from the beginning. They changed our move in date while I was 37 weeks pregnant because the building wasn’t ready. And boy, was it NOT ready. There was no internet for two weeks, none of the Cat5 cables were hooked up either. Two weeks after we moved in, firefighters walking around the hall came up to tell us they just finished their inspection. I guess they thought we... were management? All the issues mentioned below were resolved, albeit very slowly over the course of 7 months.

A couple months ago we had to go without running water for an entire day while they worked on the water heater, which by the way, I still have to take luke warm showers and a hot bath is impossible.

The fire alarm has gone off multiple times due to construction going on, which is a huge inconvenience early in the morning when you have kids.

And to top it all off, they’ve been epoxying the garage floor for three days and we have been breathing in toxic chemicals this whole time while the building is improperly ventilated. I kiss you not, the smell is so toxic I’m heartsick over having my family here. I’m just beyond livid. The first day, my mom (who also lives here) asked to have the ventilation unit turned on and was ignored. The second day she demanded it. Today, the third day, the ventilation unit is running but the smell is still SO strong. DO NOT MOVE HERE

Old review: Apartments and view are nice, but they’re working on a lot of things simultaneously that makes living here less than ideal. The elevator scanners and door scanners are glitchy, and they’ve been updated multiple times without informing the residents. The garage doors periodically don’t work either which is incredibly inconvenient when you’re trying to leave in a hurry. The dog park is a swampy mess due to flooding issues. And when you do have an issue after hours, getting ahold of someone on their emergency help line is impossible. I’ve been on the line for 20 minutes as I’m writing this. I’m sure these issues will resolve with time and I’ll be happy to update my review then, but for now 3 starts as I’m unimpressed for the price. Read More

I moved to Kenosha and moved in to Lake Terrace apartments on the 1st of July. Ever since moving in everything has been phenomenal from the apartment, the view, the staff, etc. The apartments are state of the art with all the high end appliances. The security to the apartments is top notch as well as you need a fob to access not only your apartment itself but the building and elevator too. In addition, they have a enclosed, private garage below the building which is amazing and will be very... beneficial come the winter. They also have a sundeck with grills for you to invite friends over and hangout. Last, I mean this wholeheartedly, they have the best leasing agent out there in Myeshah. She is not only the best dressed leasing agent you will find but the most helpful, responsive, selfless agent you will find. Ever since inquiring about this complex, she has been nothing but phenomenal!! She is truly one of a kind and she better not leave!! Lake Terrace is a true meaning of modern convenience in an unbeatable location. Very luxurious new apartment with great layout, amenities and perfect kitchen! The 5-minute walk to Lake Michigan is therapeutic.

Myeshah, the leasing consultant, is most gracious and made the leasing application process smooth and easy.
