I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 year stay at Wintergreen. Atrium is kept clean and the size makes moving in and out easier than most places. The one bedroom unit I stayed in was spacious with plenty of storage space and having a walk out balcony/patio is great for the warmer months. My neighbors were very friendly and sound stays well within the individual units. The owners are very quick to repair/replace any issues that arise. When my dishwasher stopped working they had it up and running the next... day.
All in all, one of the best places I have ever lived.

Life at Wintergreen
This is by far the best apartment I have ever lived at! I love the easy access to the highway, walking distance to Aldi is great too. I love the open atrium when you come in, it just relaxes me. The owner is great to work with, and has never failed to address a concern. I've been here three years now, and it has truly become my home. I have some great neighbors, they are all quiet. Some are outgoing, others keep to themselves, but never an issue with any of them. Wintergreen is a great place to... call home, and having a local owner who gives a rip means a lot!

Looks are deceiving
If you like outdated this is the place for you. Almost everything in these apartments is original, appliances, carpet, windows and patio door. Floor plans are big and roomy with tons of storage might be the biggest positive. Loud interchange traffic from the hwy even with the new wall, airport fly over zone, close village emergency facilities so noise levels are very high, but it's close to everything you need. Mgr and maintenance nice till you want something big repaired or replaced then... expect duck tape, band aids and excuses. If you don't mind these things then this is the place for you.
